Brett is a singer-songwriter currently living, recording and gigging in Los Angeles. Born in the small town of Haw River, North Carolina, he started singing as soon as he could speak and starting playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 13. After years of playing in bands, studying music and playing shows in the southeast, Brett parted ways with North Carolina and his band Fortune In The Sun. With a car full of amps, guitars, and his wifes' shoe collection, he landed in LA and thankfully has found it a suitable environment to nourish creativity and further explore his passion for the arts and music. His songs are sultry and mellow at times while bold and energetic at others, once you listen you'll find yourself waking up with his clever lyrics in your head.
