"The Friendship Dolls of 1927: How Japan Came to Montana" is the subject of the presentation for the Last Chance Gulch Corral dinner meeting. Alan Scott Pate will speak about the 58 Japanese Friendship dolls which were a gift from Japanese children to American children in 1927. Alan Pate is the leading world authority on antique Japanese dolls, a prolific author, and speaks all over the world. He has curated many exhibits and has a gallery located in St. Ignatius, Montana. This talk will focus on these dolls and their experiences in Montana.

The Last Chance Gulch Corral is a local history group. The dinner meeting will be at Jorgenson's Restaurant in the lower dining room on Monday April 21, 2014. No host cocktails will be at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:00 p.m. All interested in Montana History are welcome.
