Scott Kirby's unique presentation highlights the worlds of Classic Ragtime, New Orleans Jazz, and Blues, and then expands to include marches of John Philip Sousa, songs of Stephen Foster, Latin-American styles, Afro-Cuban rhythms, European Romanticism, Rock & Roll and original works ranging from the syncopated to the impressionistic.
Kirby brings his piano stylings to the Music Makers' Conservatory at 1016 W. Custer on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30 PM. There is no admission charge although a 'pass the hat' donation is requested for this concert by a master of Ragtime.
