History Museum Exhibit Description:
An exhibit from Fort Missoula entitled, "United We Will Win: WWII Posters that Mobilized a Nation," is on display at the Jefferson County Museum in Clancy, Montana. We are extending the viewing time for the exhibit from the end of May to the end of June. Museum hours are 1:00-5:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays.

The exhibit consists of over 50 inspirational posters that shaped public opinion and behavior during the war by effectively appealing to the emotions of Americans. Propaganda posters played a major role in gaining American support for a war that many were wary of joining. The posters were widely distributed and covered many wartime activities.

The Jefferson County Museum is located at 9 North Main St in Clancy. Call 933-5528 or 933-5861 for more information.
