Registration is open for the annual Chicks n Chaps rodeo clinic for women, with all proceeds going to assist area breast cancer patients. The event is Friday, July 25, at the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds. Discounted registration is available through June 19 at www.stpetes.org.
Chicks n Chaps rodeo clinics are held all over the United States, educating women about the sport of rodeo and donating all proceeds to assist community members dealing with the financial, physical and emotional burdens of breast cancer.
The Helena event is sponsored by the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation. Women attending will learn roping, riding and additional rodeo skills, plus line dancing and some pampering, too. Auction and raffle items, food and beverages are also available in a private tent area set up near the arena.
