Food for Fines through the Helena Municipal Court will take place Friday, August 1 from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in the parking lot next to the city courthouse.

Food for Fines applies only to fines through the Municipal Court.

For each can of food donated, $5.00 will be deducted from fines through the Municipal Court, with a limit of $100.00 that can be given through the event.

Please, no dented or expired cans and no cans that have been acquired through Helena Food Share's pantry. These will not count toward fines owed to the City. As a partner with Helena Food Share and the Municipal Court, Big Sky Bail Bonds will be on site and provide support for individuals participating.

If you are unable to make it to Food for Fines, someone may make a donation for them, specifying it to be applied to your account. Food for Fines is only occurring on Friday, August 1 and food donations must be received on that day alone at the courthouse.

The City of Helena's Municipal Court and Big Sky Bail Bonds are working in conjunction with Helena Food Share to make this event possible.
