In this 5 week hands-on class, students will learn how to fire their own work using the Raku kiln. This method of firing allows for unique non-functional surfaces created through rapid firing and fast reduction cooling. Firings will take place during class times. Some previous clay experience is needed. Open studio time is available everyday outside of class time. Taught by full-time professional resident artist Chris Dufala.
