Description:
This workshop is designed for food entrepreneurs, direct market farmers, state and local health officials, business and economic development educators, local food non-profits, & folks with cottage food business ideas. Workshops will create opportunities to build relationships and networks, and offer strategies, assistance, and resources to continue growing our local food economy. Come with your business ideas, plans, and questions about how to operate under the rules and regulations of Montana’s Food Policy Modernization Law.
Please note workshops will not cover livestock products.
Registration is $12 with lunch, or free if you would like to brown bag and bring your own. We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs, and to provide locally sourced lunches!
To ensure a diverse workshop group, we welcome participants from a variety of backgrounds, including food entrepreneurs and businesspeople, direct market farmers, state and local health officials, extension agents, business and economic development educators, and local food non-profit staff. Please contact the AERO office at 406.443.7272 with questions.
