Description:
Join students and faculty for a panel discussion exploring how artificial intelligence is being used across disciplines at Carroll College, along with hopes and concerns about its impact on society. Moderated by Dr. Alan Hansen (Communication Studies), the panel includes Ms. Rachel Martin (Academic Technology), Dr. Joe Helbling (Education), Dr. Shaye Bodine (Engineering), and three students—including participants in an upcoming theatre production engaging directly with themes of AI.
The event will feature a moderated discussion followed by audience Q&A during the final 20 minutes. Panelists will share diverse perspectives in a spirit of thoughtful engagement rather than advocating a single pro- or anti-AI stance.
This event is free and open to the public.
