Description:
The Capital High School Drama Department proudly presents Mean Girls: The High School Edition, coming to the stage February 20-22, 28, 29, and March 1. Performances will take place at 6:00 PM in the Capital High School Auditorium, located at 100 Valley Drive.
This marks the first-ever performance of Mean Girls: The High School Edition in Helena, showcasing the exceptional talent of over 40 students in the cast and crew. Directed by Laura Brayko, with musical direction by Thomas Baty, this satirical, heartfelt production is sure to entertain Helena audiences.
Based on the hit movie written by Tina Fey, this high school adaptation brings the iconic story of high school drama, friendship, and self-discovery to the stage. While age-appropriate adjustments have been made with permission from the playwright, the show remains rated PG-13 due to mature themes and language, and it is not recommended for younger children.
Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, $10 for adults, and $15 for VIP seating, which includes a more comfortable seat and a special gift. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at https://www.vancoevents.com/us/CVOF.
"The students have been wanting to do this show for years," says director Laura Brayko. "I'm thrilled to have such a huge wonderful cast and crew who have put their hearts and humor into this satirical piece."
Don’t miss your chance to see this unforgettable production! Join us for a night of laughter, sharp wit, and heartfelt moments that are sure to leave a lasting impression.
