March Library Card Madness
9:00 AM
Lewis and Clark Library
Description:
It’s March Madness @ Your Lewis & Clark Library…March Library Card Madness that is! Your Lewis & Clark Library is one of the oldest libraries in the State and we pride ourselves on being adaptive to change, but with all the latest technology we embrace, nothing beats a good old fashioned library card.

“Your library card is your ticket to the world,” explains Lewis & Clark Library Director John Finn. “With your library card you can access one of our many online resources including checking out ebooks and emedia; checkout an edventure pass to visit Exploration Works or the Montana Historical Society; checkout an ukulele, a sewing machine, or a CPR kit from our Library of Things; or just grab a book to read for fun.”

This month we encourage you to stop by any Branch of the Lewis & Clark Library and make sure your Library account is up-to-date. If you don’t have a library card, fill-out an application and start checking out items! Signing up for a Library Card is easy. Library cards are free for residents of Lewis & Clark County. Not a resident of Lewis & Clark County? Not to worry, the Library has plenty of options available for those who live outside the County or who are temporary residents.

To help us celebrate March Library Card Madness, several local community members will be hosting story time at the Main Branch of the Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays thru March. You’ll get a chance to meet members of the Helena Symphony, Kal Poole from Grand Street Theater, Kevin Skaalure from Montana Radio Company, John Riley and Curtis Grevenitz from KTVH-TV, Andy Shirtliff from the Public Service Commission, Capt. Curt Stinson from Helena Police Department, and local author Annie McCutcheon.

For more information on how to sign up for a Library Card, log onto www.lclibrary.org and under “Library Information” select “Library Cards.” For more information on Story Time, visit our website at https://www.lclibrary.org/194/Story-Time.
