Raised by Wolves is a Helena/Missoula band that plays old timey blues folk fiddle music, from the well known to the obscure. Tracy Stone-Manning croons the blues and folk with equal gusto as her soulful voice becomes finer with age. Matt Bugni plays symphonic violin in folk and blues tunes, adding a dash of Hungarian notes that Liszt would tap his toe to. Singer, guitarist, dobro player and banjo plucker Dick Manning scours old Memphis racing forms to find songs he can growl into the mic. And Bill Lombardi muffles his guitar except to allow occasional cries that assert themselves mid-tempo and when millennials, lost in Instagram, least expect it.
