Carroll Faculty Panel: COVID and Race
7:00 PM
Carroll College
Description:
Drawing on the expertise of Carroll faculty and local experts this panel discussion explores the intersection of the U.S. healthcare system with race and questions of racial justice—especially related to the COVID-19 pandemic. How is the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Black, Indigenous, and Latinx communities connected to historical inequities and injustices in the U.S. healthcare system? What can we do better?

Featuring Carroll faculty members and local experts including Jamie Dolan, Soumitree Gupta, and Eric Meyer. Sponsored by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.

This panel discussion will take place in person for the Carroll community in the Simperman Wiegand Amphitheatre and will be simultaneously streamed on Zoom for the broader public.
