An exaggerated and sensual form of dance, Burlesque has been part of variety shows for decades. Come experience the beauty and power of this over-the-top dance style at a two hour introduction workshop taught by Aerial Fitness trainer Sabrina Harding hosted by the Lotus Dance Center. The workshop will feature a dance-based warm up, breakdowns of basic Burlesque moves on the floor and engaging with a chair, and will finish with a short choreographed dance. Each move will have progressions and regressions, to accommodate all dance and fitness levels. Please come barefoot or in comfortable strap-on dance heels. Wear you leggings, wear a skirt (with shorts underneath), and feel free to bring your own boa!
