2017 Dust to Dazzle Historic Home Renovation Tour

Butte Citizens for Preservation and Revitalization is presenting this year's Dust to Dazzle Renovation Home Tour on Saturday, June 24, from noon to 5:00. Designed to showcase recent and on-going historic residential and structural renovation projects in Butte's historic district, it will provide an opportunity to view six buildings in varying stages of renovation. The tour will include the Kelley Mansion, the iconic "Sister Houses", W. A. Clark Jr. Carriage House and Stables, and the Frank Rooney's duplex in the business district. Tea and cookies will be available throughout the tour at the beautiful Hodgens-Ryan Mansion, 105 North Excelsior.

Tickets are $12.00 each, or two for $20.00 prior to June 24th. Proceeds will benefit Butte CPR's many projects, most notably its Historic Improvement Program grant fund. While the funds raised will provide welcome assistance to those undertaking historic renovation projects in the community, the purposes of the tour are to inspire people to purchase and restore historic buildings in Uptown Butte, to show what great results can be achieved while bringing an historic building back from the brink, and to meet the varied and wonderful people who enjoy doing it!

Advance tickets are available beginning June 1 at Books and Books (206 W. Park) and Cavanaugh's County Celtic (131 W. Park). Tickets may also be purchased at the tour locations and at the Hodgens-Ryan Mansion on tour day.
