Description:
The Lewis and Clark County Historical Society and the Helena/Lewis and Clark County Heritage Tourism program are sponsoring historic walking tours on Sundays at 4:00 PM for only $5/person; children are free. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
July Sundays – “Helena’s Historic Last Chance Gulch – Old Main Street”
Examine the Queen City of the Rockies’ existing historic architecture, as well as those now gone, and see the site of gold’s discovery. Meet at the bison head sculpture by the Lewis and Clark Library, 120 S. Last Chance Gulch on the Downtown Walking Mall.
Tours can also be scheduled at other times for groups of 5 or more people; please call 447.8357 or email pattardo@lccountmt.gov.
