Tammie Jones has played with the Americana string band, Prairie Rose for close to 12 years. She also play in a duo with her brother called Old Hat. Their emphasis is an acoustic music mix of older rock and blues. New Road, which she plays in with a couple of friends, concentrates on a mix of Western Swing and Bluegrass. She is primarily a singer, lead or backup, and plays guitar, though in a pinch she can hit on various instruments if needed. She is currently working on a CD of original tunes with Soul Tree Recording in Helena.
