Saturday 08/18 - 12 noon to 10:30 pm

Bikes Brews n Blues, a festival new to Helena, Montana, is certain to draw both local audiences and those from afar. This two-day celebration is Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18. Regular admission tickets and VIP tickets are both available at discounted pre-sale rates right now at bikesbrewsandblues.com.

Completely unique to Helena, Bikes Brews n Blues will offer world-class blues music in Memorial Park and camping directly across the street at Centennial Park. As an added feature, the free Trail Rider shuttle for mountain bikers will be in operation with extended hours for the weekend.

Festival coordinator and owner of Lewis & Clark Brewing, Max Pigman said, “Helena’s mountain biking opportunities are unparalleled in Montana and I am excited to be able to combine this aspect of our community with outstanding blues acts from around the nation. Add quality crafted microbrews to the mix and you won’t be able to beat this weekend.”

Music will start at noon on Friday with MSK Project, Helena Blues Project, Igor & The Red Elvises and Leroy Miller. Headlining Friday’s acts is Southern blues-rock guitar wizard, vocalist and songwriter Tinsley Ellis.

The Saturday, August 18th music lineup also starts at noon with The Essentials, Ten Years Gone, Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch and the Dennis Jones Band. The headliner for Saturday night is the acclaimed blues band Mississippi Heat. The band has made waves on the blues charts by regularly reaching the #1 spot on Living Blues Magazine’s radio charts.

Camping is available during the event at Centennial Park, which is easily accessible by a tunnel that connects the two parks. One hundred 10 x 15 ft tent camping spots will be available along with limited RV spots. Memorial Park Pool showers will open daily at 7:00 am for campers. Bikes Brews n Blues is working closely with the City of Helena Parks and Recreation Department to ensure that users will have a quality camping experience and the integrity of the park is maintained.

Working with Bike Helena, the event has secured additional shuttles throughout the festival that will pick up trail users directly at the music venue, Memorial Park. A complete schedule of shuttles will be posted as it becomes available.

Award winning micro brews such as Miner’s Gold, Prickly Pear Pale Ale and Tumbleweed IPA will be featured at the event along with a selection of Budweiser products. Lewis & Clark Brewing brewers will be available to discuss the finer points of a pint with the craft beer connoisseur. A variety of food vendors will be providing food throughout the event.

There are a limited number of exclusive sponsorships still available for the event. Sponsorships can include VIP passes, front row Trail Rider seating and a variety of ways that sponsors can reach people prior to and during the event. Visit the event sponsorship page for all the details.
