L&C Library Director’s Cut, Outdoor Movie
8:30 PM
Lewis and Clark Library
Description:
Grab your lawn chair and head on down to the Library on Thursday, August 22nd for an evening movie in Anchor Park. For the last Director’s Cut, Outdoor Movie of the season we will be showing the 1985 favorite, The Goonies.

The Library introduced the “Director’s Cut Series” in 2017. Designed to get families to enjoy movies alfresco; “There’s something really cool about watching classic Hollywood movies and family films on a large outdoor screen in a park setting,” explains Lewis & Clark Library Director John Finn.

Finn explains that the Director’s Cut series is based on similar outdoor summer movie series. The Library has contracted with FunFlicks out of Bozeman to show the movie outside. Finn goes on to explain that “not only is this a fun way to experience movies, but it is a great way to connect with our community.” Much like Shakespeare in the Parks, the Director’s Cut is designed to get people to throw down a blanket, bring a picnic dinner or snacks, and enjoy a show.

Join us for a free screening of The Goonies in Anchor Park on Thursday, August 22nd at sunset (approximately 8:30pm)
