Author Lucinda Herring is a Home Funeral and Green Burial consultant and guide, as well as a minister and licensed funeral director in the state of Washington. Her book Reimagining Death provides stories and practical wisdom gleaned from her own experience over the last twenty years helping families and communities reclaim the right to care for their own dead, and to choose after-death care options that care for each other and the earth at the end of life.
