Ancient Greek Insights for Today's America Description:
Sponsored by Merlin CCC and the Carroll College Philosophy Department, this evening program will be an informal conversation about greek philosophical insights and how they relate to and can help us navigate our everyday lived experiences. Invited guest speakers/participants include:

-- Barry Ferst, Professor, Philosophy (Carroll College, MT)
-- David Nowakowski, Philosopher & Senior Mentor to Fellowship Scholars (Merlin CCC)
-- Mark Smillie, Professor, Philosophy (Carroll College, MT)

Guest participants will be provided with set questions/topics, not as a debate, but rather as an illuminating conversation.

Marisa Diaz-Waian (Philosopher & Director, Merlin CCC) will introduce the symposium panel. 2019 Merlin Student Scholar Fellow & Philosopher, Henry Kramer, will be serving as the moderator and will aide in directing discussion.

"Ancient Greek Insights for Today's America: A Conversation" will be held in Sage Room 235 in the Corette Library at Carroll College from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
