Cranium Cafe
Description:
Cranium Café, a program of Helena Community Connections, is a brain health workshop featuring enjoyable brain health exercises and education in a relaxed, fun environment. Participants learn and practice activities to keep the brain healthy as it ages. Nanette Whitman-Holmes, Life Enrichment Director at Touchmark, facilitates. A new series begins on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Building Your Resilience: Finding Meaning in Adversity is the title of this season’s video series. Psychologist, Molly Birkholm, is the presenter. What if you could drop your problems into a pile and walkaway? Research demonstrates that we grow into our best and most joyful selves when we embrace our problems. We become confident enough to work through our problems toward appropriate solutions. In the series, you will learn about and experience the process of building inner calm and moving toward your best and most fulfilling life.

Please bring a brown bag lunch. Other refreshments are provided. Cranium Café is free, however non-perishables for Helena Food Share are suggested as a donation. Cranium Café begins at 12 noon. Please see at www.bridgeshcc.org. All programs are offered at 2330 East Broadway, Helena, unless otherwise noted. All programs occur in handicapped accessible facilities and all HCC programs are life enrichment for those over fifty. Contact Nanette at 202-3774 for more information about Cranium Café.
