Seattle violinist, Tari Nelson Zagar will return to her hometown to perform at 1 1=1 Gallery on Sunday, September 24 as part of the Sound Gallery Series. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. All Sound Gallery offerings are free of charge but donations are gratefully accepted.
Tari Nelson-Zagar may incorporate found sound, improvisation, jazz standards, virtuosic violin concerto, and even old cowboy tunes. Nelson-Zagar often requests audience participation and is known for her whim and unpredictability.
Refreshments will be served as seats are taken from 7-7:30pm, and those in attendance are encouraged to socialize during this time. The venue is unique, small and intimate and attendees will be surrounded by the works of local artists. Sound Gallery offers original, unconventional musical performances for smaller audiences.
