The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a collection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, CA which is now in its 16th year! This year’s festival theme is Groundswell, and the goal is to inspire and unite communities to help restore and maintain the health of the environment.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is considered one of the nation’s premiere environmental and adventure film festivals. Festival-goers can expect to see award winning films about nature, adventure, conservation, and wildlife. These films combine remarkable cinematography and expert storytelling that serve to deepen appreciation for the natural world and inspire solutions for preserving the environment for future generations.

The festival is a natural extension of the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument’s (FMB) work in education, advocacy, and stewardship. FMB is a non-profit dedicated to protecting and preserving the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument.
