You may have seen the Facebook post of Montana City Stone installing new granite counter tops at Jade Garden. In addition, there has been more construction type vehicles parked at the restaurant making one assume they will be reopening one of these days.
The Airport restaurant, Smokejumper Station, is open - we plan to check it out this week.
JCCS recently moved their offices from the Montana Club to a location at Nob Hill. The Mt Club offices space is for lease.
As mentioned before, the Mt Club is now open to the public for lunch and dinner. They are moving forward with their Co-Op plans so you can also be part of the ownership and support the effort to maintain the legend of the Club - it has a great history. Stop in for lunch or dinner and check it out.
A number of people are talking about the potential impact on the Helena economy due to the 200 million state budget shortfall - it will certainly impact the number of state jobs in Helena, and other communities, and will have impacts on retail, home construction/sales and other businesses.
Sure a lot of videos online showing people burning those expensive leather NFL coats, footballs, jerseys, hats, etc. Hope the City Commission stays out of this one (sorry but could not help myself).
Big Fall event in Townsend this weekend - there are lots of things to do including a huge car show and the weather looks pretty good for the event at this point in time.
