Boone & Crockett Club and Hunting Ethics

Description:
The Boone & Crockett Club was established in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt and George Bird Grinnell along with hunters who dedicated their lives to the conservation of wildlife. “Where Hunting Happens, Conservation Happens.” Luke Coccoli will talk about the history, mission and purpose of the Club, and the human-wildlife conflicts and risks associated with losing hunting rights.
Luke Coccoli is the Director of Conservation Programs at Boone and Crockett Club’s Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch. Luke is a native to Montana and grew up in Choteau. After attending Montana State University and graduating in 2012 with a BS degree in Fish & Wildlife Management he began working for the Club at the TRM Ranch and Rasmuson WIldlife Conservation Center. He now holds a M.Ed. degree from the University of Montana and lives on-site with his wife and two young children.
