Learn to Quilt - Cozy up to a Log Cabin
10:00 AM

Learn to Quilt - Cozy up to a Log Cabin Description:
The basic concept is the block builds around a center square and adds fabric strips in a pattern according to the type of “cabin” block required by the quilter.

This class will explore the different styles of Log Cabin blocks including Courthouse Steps, Around the Cabin, and Curvy Log Cabin. The students will practice different methods of making and keeping the blocks square.

At the end of class, the blocks will be turned into a potholder. After making small or large quilts, we often have a block or two leftover. Potholders and placemats are a fun use of leftover blocks and make great gifts.
