Description:
ADDITIONAL DATES: November 8, 9, 14, 15, 16. All shows are at 7:00
The Capital High School drama department is excited to announce its
upcoming production of "Just Another High School Play," a hilarious comedy that takes the
audience on a wild ride through the world of high school theater.
In this uproarious production, a group of high school actors find themselves abandoned by their
drama teacher on opening night, forced to piece together a show in front of a live audience.
With no rehearsals and no idea what to do, the student assistant director and stage manager
scramble to pass out scripts and improvise their way through a chaotic yet entertaining
performance. From Shakespeare to Albee, classic plays are reimagined with a satirical twist,
providing plenty of laughs and surprises along the way.
This fast-paced, physical comedy is a clever commentary on the highs and lows of high school
theater, with improvisation and creativity taking center stage. It's the perfect show for anyone
who loves a good laugh, appreciates the arts, or wants to see what happens when high school
actors are left to their own devices.
Join us for an evening of fun and support our talented students as they take on this comedic
challenge. Tickets will be available at the door.
