Open Mic is back at The Covellite, and we’re kicking off this new season with a fresh twist: each month brings a different host, a different energy, and a different flavor of performance to the stage, ensuring every Tuesday feels alive with new voices, new stories, and surprising turns.\n
\n
For November, the spotlight shifts to Dan Mitchem—actor, pirate, magician, and all-around entertainer. With a flair for the theatrical and a background that spans everything from Beetlejuice impersonations to brand ambassadorship, Dan brings a unique spark to the stage. Trained at Montana Technological University and L.A.C.C., he knows how to command a room and keep the night flowing. This month, he’ll take the mic as host, weaving energy, humor, and charisma between each performance.\n
\n
Here’s how it works:\n
Sign up at the door for your chance at the mic. Music, poetry, comedy, dance, stories- all welcome every week.\n
All ages are invited to perform, or simply attend and meet your neighbors.\n
Doors at 7PM. Performances begin shortly after arrival.\n
\n
Upcoming Host Lineup\n
October and November isn’t the only chapter in this new Open Mic run:\n
December: Comedian Kane takes us into the holidays with laughs.\n
January–March: The rotation continues, with Aaron, Dan, and Kane\n
trading months to keep the series unpredictable and exciting.\n
