Educational activities centered around local food, squash and family fun. The squash will be purchased from sustainable Montana growers, then sold to the Helena community as a fundraiser for Helena Local and, for the 2014 event, for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (we will choose a community benefactor). While the event will help to make Helena Local more sustainable, we also hope to raise community awareness and help "squash" domestic and sexual violence.
