Blackfoot River Brewing Company's weekly Community Monday event generously contributes $1 from each beer sold to the non-profit organization of the evening. Big thanks to this pioneer in Helena beer-drinking philanthropy for their on-going support of our local organizations! This week's sponsored organization is the chamber chorus Musikanten Montana, with all profits going to pay expenses for their recently completed 4-city J.S. Bach "Christmas Oratorio" tour, the 16th annual Montana Early Music Festival series of concerts -- the only choral-orchestral festival in Montana (or anywhere nearby!) featuring Music Before 1800, played on period instruments. Come out to the Brewery and raise a pint for Musikanten Montana's Early Music Festival. J.S. Bach would definitely approve.
