L&C Library - Afternoon with the Author Russell Rowland
2:00 PM
Lewis and Clark Library
Description:
Libraries aren't just for kids during the summer. Your Lewis & Clark Library has a host of events planned during July just for adults. All programming and event information is available online at lclibrary.org.

On July 9th at 2PM, the Library will host, "Afternoon with the Author Russell Rowland." Russell Rowland was born and raised in Montana and has published three novels, In Open Spaces, The Watershed Years and High and Inside. In Open Spaces was called 'a novel of muted elegance' by the New York Times, and both of the ensuing novels were finalists for the High Plans Book Award. His most recent book, Fifty-Six Counties: A Montana Journey, is the result of his travels to every county in Montana, interviewing people around the state about the history, and about what's happening now. Mr. Rowland lives in Billings, where he teaches and consults with other writers.
