With so much changing in the world, it's no surprise the parenting trends are changing too. This class offers up-to-date information to keep you relevant with your children as they become new parents.
As a grandparent, you want to be able to keep your grandchild safe. A Certified Nurse Educator will go over important safety topics to help you keep safety in mind. These topics include: poisoning, sleep, shaken baby syndrome and car seats. Infant choking rescue and infant CPR will also demonstrated. * (This class does NOT include a CPR certification card). Additional topics to be discussed include baby care, childbirth and parenting today, memory making, communicating with their children as parents, encouragement versus advice, and long-distance grand-parenting.
